I spent hours designing this but I wanted to see everyone's opinion...

Dimensions are 23.5x39x21

Box comes out to 32.9hz at 7.81 cubes with 91 inches of port(which is the biggest I could make it after messing around with the port and I wanted a port with 1 common wall. What do you guys think about this enclosure with the amount of port area?

Anyone? geeze there's people commenting on enclosures for 2 12's and nobody cares about the 21 i guess

It will work just fine. Not optimal, but will still be decent.

How can I make the port area larger while keeping the tuning low?

Seems small to me...

If that is your max space, than you'll need to use aero ports. 8 cubes is ideal for a 21" warden

The thing is there's absolutely no way to get 100+ inches with the tuning so low. So I should use aeros then? I did the calculations and aeros shower half the port area...is that alright? And so 91 inches for the original design is bad?

the 91 sq inches isn't bad, just not ideal. If you use aero ports you'll gain some airspace back and can get away with lower port area.

I believe with aeros ill be able to do 2 6" aeros and have the box at like around 8.5 cubes. Guess I can try that. Thanks a lot for your help. Gonna build in about 2 weeks that's why

just be careful if you plan on going over 3500rms on that sub, the coil leads like to fail

In the future I was actually planning on putting 4000. What do u think I should do as far as the sub handling the power and the box being pretty large in volume

Actually I just got a new recone I guess they started to sew the leads in the spider now

hopefully that solves the problem.

I hope so too I hope it's not like the first generation btl's my leads kept breaking I had to solder that thing left and right. But yeah thanks for the help I'm actually not too familiar with aeros but ill figure it out somehow like I have the design for the aeros I just am not too familiar with cutting the pipe and gluing the flares on I'm going to buy the 6" aeros off parts express

are the 2 6" aeros enough for a 21?
