hdmi 1.4 compliant?

i have looked for the pure platinum in them, but cant find any, lol.

Yes they were highly expensive, Yes the pricing might have helped the company go bankrupt, but they were and are good cables..

There is only one end result here......

We are the ones that took a beating and a screwing...

You buyers are the ones capitalizing on a good deal...

They say its the American Way...

You should see our 2012 tax returns.... The accountants were pretty darn clear.. Regardless of what is left to sale, we can not show that kind of loss again.

hdmi 1.4?

dont remember off top of head if 1.3 or 1.4... but that protocol is not used, only standard and high speed. We install these on a daily basis, just finished day before yesterday 8 runs on a combined switcher for a gaming room, we dont have issues.. never have. we pass 3D fine as well.. There were in the early days alot of hype of miscommunication of versions, etc.. just as in today, try to push you onto Monster hdmi 3D cables, when what you have more than likely 99% of time pass 3d fine.. Most was a marketing ploy, sure some cables were built alot better than others, but the versions confused the consumer, so they were made to change.. These will not pass ethernet though, and that protocol is still a futuristic developement! These are also active cables, why the expense originally, but you dont really need the power unless your at 15-20m min. , is why we also carried the bulk installer cables. The diameter of the cable is very thin, about a 3rd of a monoprice 10m cable. They had some great design, and good patents on the developement of the cables.. I think they just didnt keep up with how the consumer was choosing to spend, and didnt find a way to cut costs and still have a quality cable, its a trend going around with alot of manufacturers, in all aspects of business, be it car, home, industrial, etc. And funding plays a big role, as we later learned, they just couldnt get the proper funding, or they screwed up what funding they had, not really sure which one is true there.
