If you had $2000 to spend on a front stage, including amps, midbass, mids, tweeters or just running a standard 2 way, what would you buy?

I'd say limit your fiberglassing and no extreme modifications such as installing horns in the dash or something similar lol

My ultimate 2way would be comprised of these two drivers, crossed gently somewhere around 150hz-250hz between the two. I'd probably run them on a couple Audison HR100's, lol.

Honestly... JL audio C5 components would come to mind here. Not a jl fan by any means, but those comps are pretty awesome

I would love to use:

Micro Precision component set.

Audible Physics new 3 way set.

PHD Studio component set.

I think Hertz do the job well, but from what a few reviews online say, comparable PHD products outdo them :fyi: lol

These are what he was running,and swapped to the MLK series..They sounded very,very nice.I think he was using a Gladden amp on them,250x2.Sounded fantastic while sitting in there.he has changed up since, and I havent heard his latest set up.I havent heard the PHD as of yet.Ill bet they sound pretty nice as well:D

I have the MicroPrecision 5 Series 2 way with the MKII tweeter, and I am giving them up for the Studio Component set from PHD.

FB6.1Neo Studio coupled with either the AF1ctw or the 1.Studio tweeter. We will see.

I would do a nice set of 2 ways honestly and get a very nice, very large mutli-channel to over power them to keep them clean.

i would cheap out on the front stage and run pyle pro 6.5s and two titanium tweeters on some old school 4 channel. And spend the rest on basssssss
