it looks cooler lol. But seriously there is a pretty big difference sonically I've noticed. The wood is way more rigid than the sonotube aero's I've made so it has a very different sound imo

You can greatly speed up the kerf cuts by using a sled for your tablesaw.
The sled will take a bit of work - but would be a good payoff if you intended to make multiple ports.
