do you guys think this will be a good box for a 15" l7?

and would putting the sub on the top so it fires upward have any negetave affects?

Lol just cut the hole square. I have had a few boxes port back and sub up. Wasn't to big of a difference but it will depend a little on the car its in also

and yea i will be cuting a square opening on the to i was just asking the the box size and port would work with the l7

why not just have a builder make you one for cheaps and it will be right for the sub in every way

Yea I was kinda joking....lol the box should be good decent amount of port area and those l7's love alot of cubic ft I did a build with 9 15 l7's facing up in my 07 Tahoe

5.15 cu ft is pretty good for a L7 15! but L-Ported would be better :D

im new to box building. with that said how would an L-shape port be better?

Just make sure you round the port so u don't get as much port noise and make sure you put 45's in the box
