View Full Version : quick n easy DIY circle jig

Thought I'd share a simple diy way to make your own circle jig for any router. I use this jig regularly and cut perfect circles everytime. I did not create or come up with this design as I myself picked it up from somewhere (just can't remember from who/where/when)

Nice, I like my jasper jig, but had a similar home made one fore, I like how you added the handle, I wish my jig had that!

I made an aluminum copy of the Jasper personally My aluminum circle guide - DIYMA Car Audio Forum (http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/fabrication-tools-tricks-trade/103389-my-aluminum-circle-guide.html) (hope the external link is okay..)

The handle is a good idea. I do often use my jig with one hand on the router and one hand on the opposite side of the jig for stabilization. A handle would make it a bit more comfortable.
