centergod79's listing said he thought that these were upgraded, not sure how to tell.
Sent one out to SPLaudio today.

Unfortunately yes. I'm not going to attempt to glue it, tape it, etc.
It is extremely small. From my testing, I could not hear it flapping (then again it was on at most 450-500w RMS when I tested it.)

I don't know anything about these subs, other than they work, I don't even know what slit that goes all the way around that you guys are talking about, I never examined the subs, hence being why I sold them so cheap. I received these subs on a trade from a friend that bought 4 AB HD 15"s off of me. I gave him a little credit for them, and since I'm not a big fan of DC I just listed them and sold them for what I had in them. As far as any upgrades are concerned, darksoul is the original owner of them, he may know, I'm sorry I can't be of any help for you guys, I do like to help people, I just can't be of any about these particular subs, unless it were to pertain to rebuilding them, which is information I'm sure most of you already know, GLWS

The "slit that goes all the way around" does not exist.
There is a hole that goes all the way through the surround.
The hole is 1-2mm in size. I'm not trying to hold you accountable. I mentioned you because your listing said you thought they had been upgraded. (Also because I got the sub from you.)

That's not bad. I'm sure a drop of silicone will be fine on it. Now is it me or does the terminals look funky? Lol

The terminal on the left in the picture still had wire in it from previous install, I was able to get it out. If you like I can take a closer picture of both terminals.
