I am ordering two sdc2.5 10's from AQ. I need to know if a prefab box would be big enough at 15"deep, 32" long, 13.5" high. Or should I make a box as large as I possibly can..which isn't much bigger. 17" deep, 32" long, 14" high.
Would there be much of a difference in sound?
15x32x13.5 = 6480/1728 = 3.75ft3 before displacements.
17x32x14 = 7616/1728 = 4.40ft3 before displacements.
I am just wondering if I should buy the prefab or build my own? thanks!

Build your own, you will be much happier.

Build you own..You might even get with Rabbit here, and get a spec cut out sheet for your subs also

at least by building your own using good plans;
A) you know where it is tuned, and
B) when it is said and done, it adds a whole new dimension to the quality of the sound when you know you made that happen.

I will build it myself then! You guys gave me the motivation =p.
Where could I get a set of plans from? Of course drawn to my dimensions.
And what should they run me, if not free?
Thanks again guys.
