So i'm re-building my avalanche, I recently became a B2 dealer and decided to get back on the road to the finals, I missed competing the last few years so i figured why not.

I'm replacing my daily system of 3-12" DB Drive WD's tuned to 36hz powered by a RD D9 with some new product from B2. here are a few pics since the woofers just came in. I will start the box this weekend and have more of an update then.

The new stuff....
Kenwood Excelon Deck
Audiocontrol EQT
B2 Quattro 4-channel (130x4)
3-MB quart Comp sets with custom kicks...Old school but switching to B2 as soon as they get in stock
2-RD D9's on 18 volts @ .9 strapped
2-B2 XC 15's Carbon cap,Titanium 4" VC
200 sq ft of fatmat
6-power ware 120ah group 31's
6 runs of knu koncept 1/0

subs just got here from Denmark

If you need any help with the enclosure design, I have a ton of experience with those trucks when I had my Avalanche. Doing a 4th order a certain way in there will give you great range for street play, and still do a nice nunber on the meter.

i was doing low 150's not even sealed off with the WD's I have already designed my box for these but i havent messed with bandpass boxes much, if i decide to try a bandpass I will give you a shout! thanks for the offer!

With how much power? Because with 2 15s and a solid 2000-2500rms, you should be able to touch a 150 legal on a burp around 37-39hz with that truck.

I was doing 151.7 on music with 12" WD's and one D9 . But let's try to keep this thread about the new build!

I agree w/ you.
My avalanche peaks ~38-39hz depending on temp. Planning on a 2 or 4 18" 4th order soon :)

I assume you're talking about the short amount of time I have to complete this before the show? I have a couple of friends that are going to lend some muscle and all I need is a little more birch for my baffle, deadner will be here Monday and I will be testing by Wednesday night.

ok so i designed my box and while taking inventory on what wood i needed i found a old box i had built for a customer a whie back that ended up going a different route, after measuring it i realized it was exactly what i was needing so i just cut a few inches off and built a new 4 layer baffle for it and boom, box was done! picked up all my wire and stuff today. so on to the pics!!

some pics of the truck......

Purrtay indeed, lucky man indeed.

Excited to see more, what's with the screw infested box? Just looks? Or is there a reason for the screw extra square inch

Those D9s are lovely, I am picking one up after I sell my three 1.7ks

900@4ohm for USAci trunk 1.

Just have to find one in my range...

hmm..

With my experience, I'd suggest 3 15s as the best way to go for this truck if you are willing to lose the whole bed.
