Hey guys, I am going to tear out and start new.

This will be a on going project. However, a bulk of it should be done within' the next three days.

The further work done past the upcoming three days will most likely be redoing my work I do coming up, assuming I leave room for cleaning it up a bit.

I am just getting my nose into car audio, so please excuse me and any failures I am sure to have.

Items being installed :
Two Sundown SA-D4s
HiFonics Brutus 1700
(I have three of these, I will either run the SAs at 1 ohm at 850 each.. or dual Brutus at 2ohm 1200 each, might be going 1,200 each. getting that clean power, extra batt.. ect ect first :up2somet: )

Headunit got put in awhile back, may be due for upgrade.

Goals with build is just pure SPL right now.
My friend who got me into car audio [ he didn't mean too] challenged me a while back, saying his system will blow away anything I ever get, he said. Despite him being sarcastic because he has CVRs, I jumped on his challenge and went home and spent $450 that same night on car audio.

I have evolved a bit, gained some knowledge, and with that being said, obviously I beat his prefab box on 450rms vs my single SA-12 on 1k at 35hz.

So, I am throwing this up tonight, even though I don't have a lot to post up right now, working on it tomorrow and will be taking pictures.

Today I got my 65 foot of 0/1, battery terminals, and my connectors in the mail.

I only got around to getting the battery terminals switched, stock wiring moved over.

Tomorrow goals are:
Big 3; framing the area from my trunk into my cabin, starting my new box, getting volt meter installed [ assuming it comes in the mail tomorrow]
A friend recommend 3 cubes at 33hz for two Sa-12s for SPL, I have a box I built a while back at 4.2cubes at 35hz, i am going to run that and see how that sounds. I will be finding out what I like, and making a box and hopefully getting it mounted up and sealed.

Good luck with build. Good sub choice.

So, real life stuff came up; got delayed, oh well no rush.

Got my big three,
here's a picture of that, even though ya'll know how that goes; just to make my thread seem cooler.
Regrounding that to the strut tomorrow and shortening that ground wire.

Starting building a box; 3.0 cubes, 43hz ish

Box is Titebond, 1.25inch staples, and some 1.5 inch brads; I like using airtools. :P
Box is going to be a flush mount, the rivets in the front are for a SA-12 basket to sit back in, and screwing into, Then putting a full solid sheet on the front and Titebonding that along with staples and brads to clamp those two together for the flush, also getting more 45s, sanding, rounding the corner on the port, ect ect. got a bit to late, working on that more tomorrow, next on my list is uping my battery, and working on the frame of my sealed trunk.

What do you mean, "done a bit better"

What's wrong with it? Solid as a mofo, specs are spot on, has 45s taking up minimal room; you just like to hate on me.

"Hope it works"

No, it's going to blow apart at the 45s with Titebond and staple every .5 inch, sh*t son.

Got this box done, throwing it in and seeing how I like this tuning, keeping this box regaurdless for a minute; going to get my batteries next, then a solid 5k [[email protected]] for Trunk Class A, looking into a KHC 1800 starter, then.. maybe 2 2400s?

Somewhere in that range, not set on Kinetik, just using them as general size reference.

Yeah, that's a 45 in my port, iRollBad.

The 45s are in the wrong corners...

Tell me some sh*t I don't know, 45s all around baby, because I went APE sh*t with that, even though it didn't help, it might of taken away!

This isn't a final box, so I just added em all around to see what it'd do.
