Did I buy the right thing?

So i went to the local audio store the other day and told them that I want to start upgrading my car audio without replacing the headunit. I have a Honda Accord 04 LX. They told me that I needed to buy an signal summing device and the JL Cleansweep is a good one. So i went out and bought this:

I got it in the mail today and now I'm not so sure I bought the right thing. I thought there was supposed to be RCA outs on it or something. Can someone help me figure this out!?

he just got the summing device ,not the actual oem integration piece

Oh, so I need both?! I guess I'll be returning it then. Does anyone know of a cheaper option for being able to hook amps and such to my factory unit?
