A number of years ago I was running some older amps with no subsonic filter and had Stephen build this for me. Unique as far as I know. Useful if your amp doesn't have subsonic filter, or just a cool Zed Audio item for your collection.

It is the circuit from the old Minilith so from those specs: 24dB/Octave variable from 11 to 48Hz

Sweet. So I would assume the halfway pt on the dial is like ~30hz?

Is it specifically made to be used with subwoofer amplifiers or can it be used as a subsonic filter for an amplifier running full-range?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it'll work with all amps as long as the xover setting on the full range is set to flat

Who knows? I haven't had a minilith in a few years, if you could find a picture of the control panel on one it should give you an idea of what position is what on the subsonic

Provided it goes HIGH ENOUGH for your needs, it is merely the high pass. He used another dial (circuit) for the lowpass on those amps.

I used this on USX 1000F's and later some Lanzar OPTI500.2's which had their own low pass.

I know someone on here uses an amp without subsonic filter and needs one. You're not going to beat this for unique and excellent function
