Kenwood DDX318 - Is it possible to change start up image?

I am trying to change the start up image on my Kenwood DDX318 (also referred to as a splash screen or boot image). Is this even possible? If so, can anyone tell me how to do so? Thanks in advance

I just received an email back from Kenwood stating it is not possible to change the start up image for the DDX318. If anyone knows of a work-around, please post.
