look into the HD series that they have, its in your budget, ive personally never heard them but they get good reviews. check on woofersetc.com

It is pretty difficult to pick out speakers without listening to them. Different people have different tastes in sound.

I have the hd61a set. I love them. Just know you will need around 200 per side to really get them going.
