Look like stealth coils to me.

If its the stealth coil there should be spacers in between the basket and motor for it to work properly.

I'd say you'd be wrong on that assumption. I have a pair here that have been built by one of the guys who does the R&D for DC and there is no spacer.

This shows a 3/8" spacer is required. It will work without one but your xmax is affected.

Nowhere in there does it state that you need spacers for the lvl 4 motors, or the xl motors on a 12" sub. Please show me where you have definitive evidence that you need spacers between the basket and motor for a stealth coil on a 12".
All that was was a for sale ad for an 18 that stated 3/8" spacer was required.
