good starter system, i started out my car audo with a 2 kicker comps and a 450 watt class d apline amp. hit nice for a little powered sub. and you can get those subs new for like $70 a pair but if you want to stick to kickers, get a l7 man with a 750.1 or 2 l7 with a 1000.1 kicker amp. will cost around $1400 roughly probably but in car audio its true, you get what you pay for
