You do not need anything more then around 2.25ft3 net volume for that sub 12" subwoofer. If you go larger you will find yourself having issues with soft parts.

Your designer/builder should be doing this for you though.

he is im just trying to get the most out of this box as possible ssteele18 would of had this box built and shipped already but we just want to make sure that were getting the most out of this sub without messing anything up !!!

it shouldnt be too big for that impala ur builder should be able to design u a box that can achieve the size needed and keep some space in the trunk

Tell your designer to come read this thread if he is not sure on what to do with the this build.

He will know what to make out of all the numbers being tossed around.

do this with a little less port area.

2.5 tuned in the low 20s, just take out that third port baffle and it will be tuned to 37 with 2.6 cu ft net or something like that.

It is very true, I'm not sure who your designer is, but he really needs to do more research on the topic and let him come up with something. I have worked with these subs and the brother/sister to these at great lengths, and you do not need more then 2.25ft3 for your application.

No offense but I gave you this answer some time ago. I'm not going to steer you into the wrong direction, it is the actual answer you seek.
