Help building box please

I have tried multiple times to get some help to build a box, but since I have no idea how to figure out my numbers correctly, nobody seems to want to help so I am going to try once again.

I have a box that I have designed I like the design of it, but I don't know if the size is okay and the port and such. A DD 9512 is going in it, it is going to be a daily driver, but i want some AWESOME bass out of it, it is 3.9 Cubic feet before displacement I think.

Where is the height on that box?

if that box is 24" x 24" x 26" that's 7 cubes gross......I haven't dealt with DD subs but that sounds a little large for a 12" sub........You prob going to want around 2.5 cubes net........

I'm no going to argue that I made it too big but how do I find out how to change the box to account for the displacement?

go to SMD Forum and download the TORRES box calculator......it's free and you can put your dimensions into it and adjust until you get the desired size....The calculator will figure the port displacement for you and you will have to tell it bracing and sub displacement....

I downloaded the Torres, I am going to work on incorporating it into sketching so I can still design, but I can't find the displacement anywhere.

figure .1-.2 for sub displacement. Not sure how big that sub is. Try something around external 24x16x14. Should give you around three cubes before port
