Why do I need a notification telling me that I quoted somebody as if I did it without realizing? What's the point?

When did that start happening? I've only had notifications when someone quotes me. BTW this is a test

Well i didn't tell me that I quoted buck. Strange it's only happening for some.
It tells me every time I quote someone.

They implemented it for us sleep-quoters. Y'know, in case our addiction leads us to CA.com in our sleep without us knowing.
I've had to strap myself to the bed just to get outta the habit..

Maybe its when you quote someone whos quoted you already in the same paragraph?

it only happens to me randomly. 90% of the time I get no notification if I quote someone. Not sure why it does it...
