It's available at AutoZone, was wondering if anyone used this yet?
Thinking of paint my box with it.
They had a black/grey mirage mix. Was gonna go for that.

I have used the green / purple on a freinds install. It looks pretty cool. After a couple of days of head banging I convinced him to use white neon with it. It looks really cool now :)

I believe dupont calls it chameleon paint. It's the paint that looks like different colors depending upon which angle you look at it, and how the light shines on it. Ford has something similar they call mystic. :)

how would one go about making their box look good with that paint?? i assume cover it with bondo smooth it then paint over the smoothed bondo?? if it works well i think i might do that for my amp rack and box to havea nice matching theme.

No need for bondo over mdf. Just use a good primer or killz. Then sand it smooth. Shoot some more primer, sand smooth. Then get to painting. :)

and it's in the paint section at wal-mart?? or if i go to autozone just ask a guy where the mirage paint is? i am really thinking of redesigning my d2's sub box and making an amp rack attached with it all in 1 smooth piece. any idea's what paint scheme would look good with a light camel brown color interior??

The autozone i went to had the kit for 29$
I had liked the silver/grey kind.
BUT might actually try the crackling paint from kryon or plasti-kote.
Give it a look as if the subs are banging soooo hard that it's cracking the paint/box
