and for the record, I read the coils today and they both sat at 2.2ohms..So maybe my DMM was messed up the other day, so it works just looks ugly and will need a recone, but if someone wants to goop it or something they would have a working sub

yep it still plays, had it on my pb 5k and played just fine..I can get coil pics or vids of anyone needs them. I have gotten recone quotes from psi, dc, sundown, etc...and the cheapest was $125 but all of them where an upgrade to the basic XL

If you want it to be all pretty and what not then yes because there is a tear in the surround, so a recone would be needed, but some goop and gorrila glue tape, and you have a working sub..and if your serious pm me we can work a deal im sure
