Pretty much still mint. Was installed to test my 1500dv2 to make sure it worked. I purchased this woofer bnib and am the original owner.

I was thinking about doing a sa system, with a 15 and 2 12s if I have space. How hard does this hit? I'm really looking for volume...

Idk honestly. Didnt really do anything for volume or testing with it. Just used it to make sure my amplifier and this sub worked before i sold both of them.

How much room does the sub need (sealed and ported)? How's the SQ on this thing? I'm putting together a SQ system so SPL isn't as important.

I dont know and i dont know. You can email sundown for that info. I purchased it new because i was going to do a budget system, changed mind, and hooked it up just to make sure it played.

These things are $130 shipped on eBay, directly from SSA.

But god-****. I can't decide whether or not I want to take this good deal or go with an SA-15. The SA-15 is gonna have a lot more output, but this is such a good price. :crap:

EDIT: If I got this for $90, I'd definitely be sold. However, I'm guessing you'll want more than that from a $130 subwoofer. I'll think about what I can pay for it right now.
