View Full Version : Ported box specs for old RE Audio RE-10's (circa 2003)

I have a pair of RE Audio RE-10's that I bought back in 2003. They're currently sealed in half a cube each in my girlfriends car. I'd like to get some more output from them and go ported, but I can't find the specs for the old version anymore. I was going to try a box that was 2 cubes and tuned to 32Hz. Does that sound about right? Would a 2x10.5" port be plenty for lower wattage subs like these? They will running off of 2 channels from an Alpine PDX-4.150, so 300w RMS.

Anybody have suggestions? I've long since lost the T/S info on them and can't find it online anywhere... only specs for the new ones.

I'd go little bigger if you can fit it. Those are some nice subs I wished RE was still as good. If I remember they are rated at like 150-200rms each. I'd go 2.6 ft tuned to 35hz with 2 4'' pvc ports.
