Got my VVX-10s in the mail friday, and I was definitely impressed after seeing them. The pictures online I saw just did not do them justice, look way beefier than I thought. With that being said...

The weight says they are 25 lbs, but it honestly feels heavier than that (although I know it's not). Feels much heavier than my Kicker CVR 15s.

Also I'm 6'3 and I can't fit both hands around the magnet (with or without the boot on)

I got my 12" yesterday. Beefier than I thought as well. Are the boots supposed to be kinda loose? Mine isn't tight at all.

For now I'll have to use my roommates cheap Kenwood amp lol, be lucky to see 600 watts

Probably run like a BRZ2100 to them, just need more $$$ :crap:

Glad you like them :), the boots are kind of loose because if we make them too tight they are such a pain to get on and off :p

Definitely does work on the lows. I haven't played anything lower than 26 but it's definitely much louder than my tc 15 was, pretty much through the whole freq curve, and im at 3 cubes @ 30 hz with the skars compared to 3 cubes at 31 hz with the TC. It's a huge difference.

Looks like they are moving some air! Going to try to get a vid of my 4 vvx8s soon. Thought about doing something similar to your vid to show the air movement. I was impressed with the few mins I had them playing! (Ran into some problems. Argh)

Some of the slugs are off a bit on 2 of mine, the other 2 are pretty close. It doesnt effect anything anyway.

Bumping this (somewhat) old thread, you bought the same subs as I did and you say you have a saturn, which is good because I also have one ^^
I need to know if you have plans of your box and dimensions so I can get someone here to make one? Shipping to canada would kill me so I'll need a local builder. You said you had them at 3 cubes @ 30 hz but do you have more specific dimensions, photos or even plans?

Thanks !

Skar built the box to whatever specs they use. You would have to get the dimensions from them.

Thanks! I'll send Kevin a message for the box specs and see if he either can build me it and arrange a no-shipping fee process of some sort which would probably not be possible, or take his measurements and get it build here by someone.

Where are you in quebec? If you are close to the border, you can probably get it shipped to the US in a town close to you, then drive down and pick it up.
