i bolted a 12 spoke basket on the motor to just see what it would look like....

it doesn't look to bad... it would make a killer 12...

i would sell the motor and the 12 spoke 12" basket for 65.00 shipped...

im sure splaudio , psi, or fix my speaker could recone this into a mean little sub... i just don't have the time or money to invest...

And junk in the gap??

the gap was pretty clean after i tore the sub down. i put tape over it to keep the dust out.. i haven't cleaned the glue off the top plate...

if there where to have anything in the gap. it would take a minimal amount of time to clean it out. () shot of compressed air would do it..i didn't see any metal.

i can make sure it was clean before i shipped it out...
