Hey everyone so i have a 11 STI Hatch with a Pioneer avic z130 bt head unit and now am ready to put in a system. I am torn between the hertz high energy 165 and the focal polyglass 165 v30. What does everyone recommend?? I plan to put in a 10" sub and a 5 channel amp so i can add rears later. Thanks for the help

because everyone has different tastes, try to find a dealer that carries both lines and go audition them. If you are in boston, i am sure there are dealers in the area. even if you have to go to two different stores that will be much better than not listening to them at all.

hertz with a lot of experience with their entire product line up. hsks are incredible value at the price point and arent beat by many

Do you listen to a lot of mixtapes, mp3s, and what not? The focals are not as forgiving as the hertz with bad recordings..and either way you go, id recommend a dedicated amp for your front stage.

In most cases Hertz have been said to be smoother and warmer while Focals are brighter and more detailed...

I had the hertz for my front stage for about a year and a half and I loved them; not a whole lot of experience with the focals though. Currently using the hsks in my trunk.
