My brother is going away this weekend for a small vacation and he wanted some music to listen to while he and his friends chilled out so he asked me to make him a small portable stereo. Here is what it looks like!

The feet that it is mounted on are temporary because I ran out of time tonight so when he gets back everything will be finished up and then I am going to stain it and seal it. It sounds pretty decent too. These were speakers that I had bought on partsexpress for very cheap. They weren't my cup of tea so I gave them to my brother.

How does it sound?

Not too bad. Its a little bright sounding for me, thats why i didn't want to keep the speakers. The sub sounds real nice. Its tuned to 34 so it hits nice and deep especially if you are standing in the corner of the room.

Looks good. Did you seal off the speakers or are they sharing a common space with the sub?

BTW, you still have the best sig on ca.com

The sub is in its separate enclosure. I just looked and I guess it sort of hard to tell from the pictures lol.

And thank you :D

Cool. I'd try something like this... God knows I've got enough spare crap laying around. Lol!

It was a lot of fun to build and for something that isn't used that often or just sits in the garage it's great.

What's the amp/power source?

It is from a Logitech computer speaker setup.
