okay have pics :) box is 4ft^3 @ 30hz for three skar vvx 10's :) enjoi
NOTE, there is a reason why it says TOP on the bottom piece, as that is the top. buildign it upside down and attaching the bottom last allows me to hide any and all screws on the top baffle as this box is bare.

Oh jesus what did you use to gloss that? It looks beautiful :yumyum:

first, sand with 120, then 400 then 600 then 1000. then lay the gloss lacquer. i mix it up really runny so it doesn't build up and is absorbed in

Looks great Don much nicer then I imagined in my head. Almost to sxy to go in the Saturn. Only question is I dnt see any 45's or bracing is this going to cause any issues?? Just a question I am no expert thus the reason I had you build it. Thanks alot Don...

Very nice man..Smooth and clean. While I was at work today, I stopped by our shop to gain material for work tomorrow, and the apprentice was painting our tressel wooden ladders(3 of them@$3800).He was using Boiled Linseed oil paint on them, and the finish looked as smooth as the finish on this box.Have you ever used that Don,on any of your boxes? It was thinner than reg Linseed oil paint.Would that work well on the boxes?Thanks..Nice Finished Product man.

Oh in no way is this a call out. I am certain all is good. I would not have went with him if I even had a hint of something going bad. He is a great guy and has helped me out with this box and subs and helped me get great deals so I appreciate what he has done for me alot. But I mean this has been over a 2 month build and well it was suppose to be shipped on a date and I guess it was not and I cant get ahold of him to see if there is an issue nothing more. Not mad just looking for some kinda info...

I mean this man built a beast of a box for half of what the other people on this site wanted me to pay. Plus, Don used birch the others were just mdf and wanted alot more then don wanted. Don did not clear much on this box build but some are not all about busting heads.

Bettr n' Revrse

^^^ u want regret it he takes time to make each box special and the wrk looks flat out ****. He is my new box builder but I would like to get my first one before I want another. Will be buying a few change able ports from here as soon as we get together.

Then don is the way to go. All other builders on this site wanted double what don wanted and I know it would not have look as nice and well it would have been built out of heavy azz mdf which is cheaper then birch but yet they wanted double the price??? Makes no sence other then money hungry..

Dang!!!!! I hope I am not included in this other builder too high stuff........because I am doing up to 3.5 cube enclosures for $99.00 plus shipping.........Take $99 and subtract wood, carpet, speaker wire, glue, terminal cup, screws, and not to mention the HOURS to build most enclosures if you want them to look good and that doesn't leave much money.......In the next few days I am going to build a few enclosures out of cabinet grade plywood and upload pics.......Stronger and lighter than MDF.....The reason most of my enclosures are MDF is because someone has most people convinced that it's the only wood for speaker boxes.......Back in the 90s when I was winning comps it was with a Particle board box that was properly built and braced.......thanks guys

NEVER! haha, I like being able to use my trunk.
Though I have been strongly considering a pair of the SA-8v2 by the end of summer hopefully. Hell, I'd do another 10 if there was a way to not have the box any bigger.
And I'm looking to switch to some Mmats power for the smaller footprint and better efficiency.

can do two 10's and a single 4" aero... would get down!!! box would be a little deeper BUT i could use the slant in the back of your ride to achieve some extra air space.

I'm in... haha. Send me a text or an email or PM or something and we'll talk more about it if you want. It'll be a couple months before I can get moving on anything due to finances, But I'd definitely be stoked to double my cone area, and plan it out.
