its some sorta surround gasket they use its a cork one...I think they did it trying to create a marble effect...it actually looks pretty good.....Cadence had one in blue like that at one time I have one somewhere...These were their first series...The motor structure is the same but there were minor diffrences in the later models...one being to the solid black gasket...lol

Bump, got mine today. The marble design in the gasket looks way better in person. Looks really cool actually. Cant wait to hook it up and hear it.
