View Full Version : "Breaking in speakers" General thoughts
Should I run my speakers below RMS until they are broken in?
Is 2-3 weeks the right amount of time?
Any other thoughts on breaking in speakers?

Just set your gain properly and don't worry about it.

No problems at all.
If you read through you will see that I had some test results that initially would support the idea of "break in" in the since of needing to be easy on the driver at first. However, after I cross referenced some test results I found that was not the case and it was a factory fault causing the issues.
In the end, "break in" in the since that you need to take it easy at first, is not true.
