So let me start off by saying this is my first actual box build and my first time with a actual "loud" system.

Alright starting off, I have a 1995 Wrangler with lots of upgrades. I have it on 33" All-Terrians with a 5" lift. It has a cold Air intake and smittybuilt front and rear bumpers. I just recently installed new chrome mirrors and 4 new fog lights. There are many more things I'm sure I didn't mention but thats all I can remember.

The Box is a 4th Order. It is 15 cubes with the port tuned to 47 hertz with 140 sq in of port area. The subwoofers are going to be ran at .5 ohms. The port to seal ratio is 1.5:1

This is how it sits now:

Finsihed Product...
I definently learned a lot of this build including how important bracing is...

Here's a video with gain turned down a lot because I still need another battery and need to do Big 3.
It still gets Low though.

The reason I did bandpass is because is because of what I was told it has a wider broadwidth of frequencys it can play and I think they sound better if built correctly. But for this one I think I tuned it too low because it seems to favor slowed songs. lol

Well I have heard of someone going from a soft top to a hard top and losing 1.2 dbs.

Song is by T.I. and the box needs a ton more bracing.

Yeah now I know... I think I'm going to rebuild using birch and using some 2x4's for bracing.

Its bolted in to the body where the seat belts. Plus, It weighs like 200 pounds and there is a lip where the tailgate is so you can't just pull it out. To get it out, I had to take the soft top off and lift it over the rollcage and slip it out that way. So its not going anywhere. lol

154 in a wrangler?!?!? Thats like unheard of haha. The loudest soft top wrangler in the world is doing 153 on burps. What subs you got in the wrangler?

Do yourself a favor and find a handful of security head bolts to secure it with. that or a dab of solder in the middle of a phillips head. Trust me, 200# is hardly enough to slow someone down. With a soft top jeep, anyone that wants the setup is a knife and a screwdriver away from taking it. Dont mean to sound paranoid or anything, just looks like you put way too much time into this for some scumbag to walk off with it

Well I don't want to make it permanent because I'm about to make this a whole lot louder with a different setup...:naughty:

I just finished my first soft top Wrangler install and I was wondering how the hell you'd fit that huge box. Now I know. :) It seemed that due to a lack of cabin gain the subs I used in a sealed box rolled off on the top end really fast. Low bass was good.
