Jbl P660C components are nice, and have a titanium tweet in a component set, Infinity Kappas, and CDT

So your recommendation, then, is German Maestro?

The only speakers that I know that use metal tweeters are Infinity Kappa and Rockford T2, both have mixed reviews.

The only metal tweeter I heard was the Seas neo tweeter. Unfortunately, you still need a crossover and a woofer to go with it. It does sound good.

Diamond Audio gets my vote as well. The 662A's. There are 2 models. One ends with an S and the other with an A. The S is for Silk tweeter, A is for aluminum.

i've got a set of PVI-269, 6x9 comps actively crossed with an AC 2XS @3kHz. love them and would put them against anything in price range, i paid $150 for the comp set and $75 for the 2XS.

also got a set of PVI-216, these have the passive crossovers that they came with and sound just as nice as the above.

I also just installed a set of Cadence tweeters with Cadence mid-ranges in a new Mustang, those were pretty loud and clean. I actually have 2 sets of cadence tweeters that i'd like to get rid of as well as a AC 2XS., just an FYI.

Powerbass 3XL-50c is the best bang for the buck right now in my opinion.
