Of those, the Bostons. Heard both series before and the Boston sounds alot smoother. Its kinda hard to get great performance from 4x6s though

yea i know. I may go with 6.5's and just cut on the doors a little. if i do though ill probably go with kenwoods Kenwood KFC-1693PS Full Range Car Speakers at Onlinecarstereo.com (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_23972_Kenwood_KFC-1693PS.aspx) just because they are cheaper than the bostons and i dont want to put a lot of money into her car

There's the Boston 6.5s for like $33. And I have seen these speakers take way more than rated power and sound great.

Personally never heard em, but couldn't see myself buying either. But that's just my opinion.

Not too impressed with the entry level Boston stuff these days. I've always liked JBL/Infinity for lower power applications, and I'm pretty sure they make a 4X6. I did some Kicker coaxials in my dad's minivan 5 or 6 years ago and they sounded decent for the price.
