It's designed in the USA, Maxxsonics puts that on all of their products.

don't be rude please. It is the first mm model when autotek switched over to the new ownership of Maxxsonics. Now that is established this is one of the few nice amps produced by maxxsonics but it was definitely not made in america. I was simply stating that to the people that may be interested so they don't get false information.

its not false info if it isnt stated in the description. not like i said in the description it was american made so not technially false information but thats fine. just dont understand why people come in bashing on other peoples stuff just to make my amp look bad..

Because it is a completely different amp than what autotek old school is usually considered. It is maxxsonics old school and is a good amp but it should be listed as that somewhere in your description. Also that it can be ran at .5 but not for daily use at that unless you like fried amps.

edit: BTW obviously you have no idea how most companies are nowadays Maxxsonics is an american company with all of the parts and items be assembled in china (some other far eastern countries also sometimes) that being said the old school ones before maxxsonics were made and assembled in america. Nuff said.

GLWS quality maxxsonics like the MBQ discus amps

He's not trying to make you look bad dude.

Most people, including myself, hear old school and assume it's made in the US. Especially if it was a brand made in the US before. It's an awesome amp don't get me wrong, the title can just confuse some people if they don't know any better.

good electrical i run it .5 ohm daily for a year now never gotta over room temperature or hot to the touch but i guess when your doing 150+ with a single 15 or anyother system the longest time u play it is for comps so yeah...NO PROBLEMS AT ALL AT .5 OHM!!! thanks for the replies tho i appreciate it!!

i undeerstand that but still does the same power and everything as the old one but if it is really that important that its not US made ill put it in there but if its such a big deal from the pisc u should be able to tell the difference..

nay sayers here need to stfu. this board is amoung a few really really solid amps made by maxxsonics. IMO the xx/xxv hifonics, some of the mb quarts, , the crunch gdp 3k pro, and these early mm's are awesome reliable amps. my xx-cyclops shares a near identical board to this mm4k and it's worth every penny.

so deaf...need your power at 1 ohm i take it?
