Do they need a special wire for the inputs?
12-05-2011, 01:01 AM
The speaker inputs?
12-05-2011, 04:07 PM
No, the RCA inputs. I see in the manual that there is some exotic plug looking thing instead of RCA jacks.
Do they have RCA's and if not, do you have the plugs?
I really want one (or both) of these, so just pm me or reply in the thread.
12-06-2011, 12:37 AM
They had din plugs and no rca inputs. I do not have the cables for them though, not sure what happened to them as ive lost a few things over the years unfortunately. I understand if your not interested because of this, let me know. Thanks

For anyone considering these, there are cables available on ebay as well. They will work fine even though they are 6 channel cables. Also these amps are extremely clean and will produce as much volume as amps that are rated much higher in power than these.
01-18-2012, 11:37 AM
So i take it your not interested anymore? Thanks for the info though, much appreciated
01-18-2012, 12:25 PM

01-31-2012, 05:59 PM
Are they bridgeable?
01-31-2012, 07:30 PM
Your P100 appears to be a first run model which I don't think was rated at 2ohms! I would not try it.
02-01-2012, 12:38 AM
I do not know if they are or not. The manual does not state that you can. You know Rick? ^^^^ . Or anyone for that matter haha

I know it s a FS thread and maybe I should route this post to another forum.
I am contemplating these amps...but...
Since I have a factory BMW HU, I would need a LOC, with these specific amp(s), correct?
Basically.....HU to LOC via OEM speaker cables...... LOC to "fancy" A/D/S/ DIN cable .... ??? And then the Fancy A/D/S/ DIN cable into the amp....
However, I'm currently running the factory HU to a cheap crutchfield amp without a LOC. I was informed by connecting my HU to the amps speaker level inputs I did not need to use a LOC.
Again, sorry for the questions. If anything...Courtesy bump!
02-01-2012, 01:19 PM
Yeah, as long as your amp has speaker level inputs you do not need a LOC. The ADS amps do not have this so you will need some sort of LOC, or oem integration signal processor etc. So you are correct, thanks
02-03-2012, 09:30 AM
the P100 does not require the "fancy" DIN cable?
02-03-2012, 01:25 PM
Correct, the P100 has rca inputs
