In all honesty: v=w*x*a1/a2*(w^2/wport^2-1). Then mach=v/c, where c=wavelength*frequency or 344.41m/s. To be honest, it gets much more complicated. :) where w=p/4/Pi/rad^2 and wport=sqrt(kport/m2 where kport=(1.4*a2^2*patm)/vbox where patm=101.3e3*Pa(pascals). Etc,etc,etc. Not something to explain in a text or two.

That is the key right there. :) it can be simplified once it is understood. Any formula can be taught, just takes time and effort and more importantly, understanding. And that usually comes at a cost now days, lol.

As to the OP, I wish I could be more help to you right now, but the best I can tell you, is if you figure for it, the m/s limit is about 25-30 at lowest impedance of the design. That's all I can say about it as it is very complex to understand fully.

Easiest way- download win isd, play around with different boxes and woofers, on the vents tab it will display port mach aka port velocity.
