Man cave for movies/music? or just Music?

Harman Kardon HK 3390 Stereo Receiver $213 new

Onkyo TX-NR509 5.1 HT Receiver $200 used

With that kind of budget, your best bet is to buy used. Also if you need a sub for that man cave, let me know.

How would a Onkyo TX-SR502 be?? It will be used for music and movies equally..Im thinking of building some custom towers, and bringing my ava 15 from my HT to the cave

I like Onkyo. The TX-SR603X is in your budget used, and a nice receiver (if you don't need HDMI switching). I would stick with 600 series or 700 series when looking used. Great value and features.

I also like Marantz and Denon but in general, Oknyo has better features for the same price point.
