Here these past months my 95 ford crown vic police interceptor has been giving me issues stranding me and stuff. My car wont crank, turn over, nothing. Until it cools down then it will crank like nothing is wrong. I've replaced the starter solenoid and the ignition switch. Got a brand new battery and everything and we can't seem to figure out what's wrong. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ok, so you join a random car audio forum to ask a question about fixing your car? This makes no f'n sense.

Anyways, make a thread over at .net descibing your problem and what you've replaced already. They'll help you.

I think it's your starter, the starter motor is brunt out.
The heat from the manifolds/headers will kill them fast, if you don't have a heat shield, replace the whole starter and i bet it solves your problem.

I'm still baffled as to why she'd come here to ask said question. So guys, give this stranger money so she can put diapers on her kid.

i know this is old, but, did she happen to find a faulty thermal protection switch in the starter?
