I just bought 4 RE8's and i want to get a pair of speakers to put in my front doors, but i only want to get a speaker with good highs and mids because i have already have the bass taken care of. I dont want to pay for a 3 way speaker if im just going to cancel out the bass. Does this type of speaker exist? What does anyone recommend?

A 2-way component system perhaps ?
Something like this:

What size speakers will fit in your front door ? Do you want components (pictured above), or coaxials ? Willing to mount your speakers somewhere else besides the door ? Going to be using an amp on these speakers ?

6X9's are in my front doors but i guess i could go smaller. Im not sure if i want comps because im one a budget after the subs and amp. I would probably just run them off the h/u.

If you're just going to run them off of the head unit, I'd just try and fit a 6.5" 2-way coaxial in there.

Yeah, they do look pretty cool to most people. I generally like the look of carbon anyways.

The best part is they'd match the set of carbon kick panels I made last year.... that'd be a good match.

Budget ? This can easily run from $50 to upwards of $200+.
- Steve :)
These should be some the best SQ 6x9 speakers. Not sure how they would do off of HU power though.
You didn't give a price range so these might be more than you want to spend.

The DLS speakers are available from Scott Bulwalda:
