i have 2 in my truck and 4 for sale right now and ive had quite a bit more in the past....never seen a 4 slug one yet

the bottom plate is virtually the same pole vent is the same diameter but you can see the angle is slightly different

they arent shifted the center slug is smaller but about 1/4" it was common on lots of trfs its the only one i have thats like that the other ones are all the same slugs

good eye i forgot to mention it when i uploaded the pic

here is a few more pics of that one to see how much its different

maybe one ? i have 4 motors and have built 4 more of these

the gap on a silver and black tops that i have in my possession or have built is identical, only the ss xxx motor is bigger

ive measured all of them, believe me i dont need to ask around. Christof has confirmed that his older motor is a black top trf when he came to see us last year

i cant say anything about the newest motors he has that are not trfs however maybe thats what your saying but it dont matter cuz i aint selling cactus motors lol

Also silvers have wider gaps. You can see it in your own pic. The blacks are mint for a 4 layer coil, and areas potent magnetic field as silvers.

the gaps are with in a very small increment of size they wont hold much different of a coil
i measured them but i dont recall the exact measurements
i know they were both 3.901 pole i believe it was 4.250 and 4.355"

what kind of coils do u need for these? what kind of baskets etc. or screws for the baskets? i'm just getting into the building the speaker thing.

any basket should fit it

the screws are 6 or 8 mm i believe

coils are 3.901 4.125
winding is about 2-3 " depending on where you get parts and your application

this is proly one of the best motor you could possibly build a custom woofer from very strong very big gap and being 4" it will take a ton more power than the average 3"
