Certain motors you can get away with it but you have to correctly pack it. I've shipped newer single slug btl motors trf motors 5200 motors etc large flat rate and have yet to have one come in damaged.

You cannot ship a ss xxx motor weighs too much

Problem is that wasn't a flat rate box. WTF? If you're going to pay by weight at least use a better box and some padding. Personally I've recieved and shipped well over a dozen bigger motors than that just in a large flat rate box. Only motor I had an issue with was a TC3hp Neo that shifted (which was acutually in bubble wrap in the flat rate box). 4hp, Shocker Sigs, TC9, Kove Armageddon, etc. I haven't had a problem with.... '02 Shocker Sig is about a pound over post office limit, but you can get them out if you're clever.

You can and I have shipped a ssxxx motor usps flat rate and I shipped a cascade motor and had a trf tsns motor shipped to me flat rated just lots of tape and bubble wrap and stuffing galore there was no packing in that box so the motor was bouncing around in the box and destroyed it.Not to mention the xl motor is actually a tiny motor the whole speaker weighs less than 40lbs.Honestly I have 3 out of 3 with usps flat rate I have 2 out 5 destroyed by fed ex arrivals not departures.Out of ups 1 out of 2.

just to throw it out there...i dont like your voice/accent.

on the other hand, that is the worst packaging i have ever seen. you should get some sort of a refund if he charged for packing materials and shipping.

Nice. No explanation for anything...this doesn't exactly put you in a good light for future potential buyers but it's obvious from the CACO thread you don't care.

Reporting this to have it removed is bogus. If you dont want your name plastered on the internet for shipping like this my suggestion is to improve your shipping.

I apologized for how things went in the pm, if u don't want to believe my explanation I can't help you. The motor is not damaged, I think u should just move on.

As for everyone else, u can not like my "attitude" and my explanation. You can call me all kinds of bad things. Do whatever u want, it dosnt bother me and it doesn't change anything. If u truly wish to know what happened pm me. Other than that, this site has itrader and ref threads. You can see what they say about me. Or ask corey (splaudio) how I ship motors for a reference. I'm not gonna get on here and argue, u can believe what u want to believe about me. I'm still here, and ill still be the sae good guy I have been

I don't understand why you think multiple smooth transactions just trumps this giant **** up? You were the seller, you obviously screwed up, now you're just going to say "Oh well I've never had a bad transaction before so let's just forget about this one" with no other explanation of what happened? You think anyone that sees this thread and your attitude is going to want to deal with you? If you would have just manned up in the first place and explained publicly what happened it wouldn't have been as big of a deal but the way your handling the situation is completely wrong, IMO.

I'm not even trying to attack you or anything, I'm just letting you know how it looks from an outside perspective...

LOL, IDK about everyone else, but I've had enough things shipped to me and shipped out to know exactly what is a right and wrong way to package something. This was wrong flat out don't care how it happened or who did it, just throwing in that thats some crappy packaging. As for the comment where its the shipping companies fault, I used to work at UPS I know exactly what can go wrong during transit and how badly a package can get maimed. There is nothing you can do about this all shipping companies are the same and everyonce in a while a package gets dropped, kicked, maimed, thrown, caught in a jam and ripped, crunched by a heavy box. This is definately a problem with the shipping company, but they are all the same and things will happen. My advice would be to take this into account when shipping and properly secure/cusion/tape your package. I got paid $10 an hour part time to ship 3k+ packages per 4 hour shift. Yeah....packages didn't always get treated with (care and consideration).

fine. but one lapse in judgement, letting the owner of the motor package and ship it, shouldnt damage his rep so bad.

Could you please clarify what you were saying to me I don't think I'm understanding right. I never said it's not "his fault" actually my point was I don't know who did what but that was a poorly packed package by the person who packed it whoever that may be. I still don't understand the I am ready to buy from you comment. I posted for informational purposes because I used to work at UPS I never once stated how I package anything.
