quick box question

if i want to slap together a quidk sealed box how would i avvount for the subwoofer?

when a sub calls for a cuft meausurment is that accounting for the pace of the sub? or is there a figure i need to factor in like

Cuft-__?__=cubic ft of box with the sub

look up your specs/parameters of the sub. it should tell you driver displacement. you just subtract that from the net volume and you're good

Generally those specs are AFTER displacement. So if it your sub says it needs 2 cubic feet of airspace and has a displacement of 0.5 cubic feet then your enclosure would need to be 2.5 cubic feet.
