Do i really need to buy this??

Installing this in my 08 ford focus.

I clicked on the "crutchfield master sheet" and this popped up

The ford focus in dash reciever kit and antenna adapter are free which is great but then it shows this.

130 dollars. Do i really have to buy this to install the HU???

Does your car have a factory amp? It looks like this harness allows you to maintain the use of the factory amp. It also says it allows you to maintain rear seat controls.

i dont think my car has a factory amp. I have a amp and sub installed in the trunk if thats what you mean. There hooked up to a line out converter.

how will i know if it has a factory amp? sounds just like any other stock car radio
