220amp DB Electrical Alternator.


Item(s) Description/Condition:

DB Electrical 220amp (115 @ idle). This came off of a 1998 Ford Explorer 4.0L but it says it fits all these models:
FORD
Aerostar 3.0L (1995-1997)
Aerostar 4.0L (1992-1997)
Bronco 5.0L, 5.8L (1993-96)
E Series Van 5.0L, 5.8L (1993-2003)
Explorer 4.0L (1991-2001)
F Series Pickup 4.2L(1997-2002)
F Series Pickup 5.0L, 5.8L (1993-97)
Ranger 2.3L (1992-97)
Ranger 2.5L (1998-2001)
Ranger 3.0L (1992-2005)
Ranger 4.0L (1992-2000)

MAZDA
Navajo 4.0L (1991-94)
Pickup 2.3L, 2.5L (1994-2001)
Pickup 3.0L (1994-2005)
Pickup 4.0L (1994-2001)

9 of 10 mechanically & 7 of 10 cosmetically due to it being dirty
Works great.It charges from 14.1-14.6 depending on the vehicle. Depending on your vehicle you may have to get a different sized belt.

only as far as what i have been told...the previous owner, original owner, gave me the specs...all i can tell you frm experience that for the price..its hard to beat...not the greatest alt...but it does well and i never had an issue wit it

Hmm.. Perhaps it would fit my Mazda? I will have to look at mine and this one and see if it's close. If it looks very close I will take it off your hands. Also, does it run at ~15v at idle?

Lol, I just sold my truck and got a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT it's the v6 so assuming its the 4.0 I'm now highly considering taking this off your hands, however I lack funds until another 2-3 weeks.. Do the Explorers have an external regulator? Or would I have to buy one?

you would have to buy one or use preadjusted external voltage regulator like the mla

which is y im sellin it so cheap..if it doesnt sell in the next 1 and a half or so...im going to keep it and eventually do a dual alt setup in my truck
