All right....took me long enough to post my sound deadener review!

Started looking around for sound deadener and saw audio technix on caco and mutiple vids of their product so decided to buy a roll and go with it! Got my first roll, stuff was awesome. Knew I made a great choice! After using it on my first door, I ordered another one!

Pros: Cost. Customer service. Fast shipping. How sticky it is! Easy to cut and use. Just how it was made overall.

Cons: Hard to get off;) Little creases in the deadener (talked to coleman and he said that he gives a little more than 25 ft^2 to cover the creases.) I believe him. The second roll I have....the wax paper is hard to get off. But once again; he said that the next shipment they get, the wax paper will be like the first roll I had, really easy to peel.

Needless to say, i'm impressed by coleman's company so far and can't wait to see what he does in the near future. Every time i've talked to him, he has responded and acted in a very professional way.

On to pictures! No vids:(

How far did the one roll go? Inside and out on both doors?

I think he used a whole roll to do two doors. I used less than 1 roll to deaden all 4 doors on my car.

You should be able to do all of that if you use it wisely.

You should be able to do all of that if you use it wisely.

Plan on doing it the way sounddeadenershowdown recommends. 25% on flat panels. Also may do closed cell foam and mass loaded vinyl if I feel its needed in my application. If the 25% rule doesnt seem sufficient I will add more until it is. :)

Still haven't finished my truck so no review from me yet, but I'll say this... The wax paper is not that hard to peel. If you needed to find a con for this product then I guess that would be it but its hardly a con when its some of the best deadener out there for the lowest price:)

I think everyone knows that you fixed it:) Lol.

But that's good that you go out here and make sure people know that so they don't hesitate to buy!

I try to mention everytime I say something about the wax paper that you fixed it;)

But you're right sleaze, that's the only con there really is! But I don't mind it.

I used a full roll to do two doors. The stuff's really nice, and I'm definitely going to buy more when I end up deadening the other doors and trunk. But I'll be getting the 80 mil from now on.

We are the cheapest deadener out there that uses a butyl adhesive with no asphalt filler.

AT 60 $2.36 a sq ft when you buy 25 sq ft (Price found on AT site)
AT 80 $3.52 a sq ft when you buy 25 sq ft (Price found on AT site)
SS Damp $3.5 a sq ft when you buy 20 sq ft (Price found on SS site)
SS Damp Pro $5.25 a sq ft when you buy 20 sq ft (Price found on SS site)
Stinger Roadkill $3.62 a sq ft when you buy 20 sq ft (Price found on ebay)
Dynamat $4.29 a sq ft when you buy 20 sq ft (Price found on ebay)

And remember there is a coupon code for 7.5% off AT. The coupon code is "CA" with out the quotation marks.

eDead uses asphalt filler (or at least I believe it does) and there so called aluminum on the there 45 mil product looks like laminated silver paper. Above I was comparing some of the quality deadeners on the market.

I disagree the con is that it is not an effective dampner compared to other things like glues, that and maybe smell?

Butyl Mass Layer The new eDead version 2 mat products use integrated butyl for higher temperature resistance over the old rubberized asphalt products. Improved reliability, durability, and performance

The foil is actually foil. I too thought it was some plastic polymer... so I let a piece on fire expecting it to melt. Nope, it s foil.

Anyway, not trying to be all ED Fanboy. Just throwing it out there.

Wish I would have read this before I just ordered. Oh well I have 10 sq ft of eDead 45, 10 sq ft of eDead 80, and 10 sq ft of FatMat coming my way now. I also have some Second Skin Damp, Second Skin Damp Pro, RaamAudio, and Dynamat I will include in these oven and other tests I do with the cheaper products. I will include Audio Technix 60 and Audio Technix 80 in the tests as well.

I agree. I just had to find something! Lol. I mean, a review is pros and cons but if the only con I could find was the wax paper on the second roll I have, and it's fixed now, coleman will make it almost impossible for anyone to find negative sides to his products. :)

This is what I strive to do. I love hearing what people have to say about my product. If they say something bad about it I look into it, if I feel it needs to be corrected then it is as fast as possible.

Lol. Thanks! I've always used a roller!

Well sub is not playing right now but it sure does pass the knock test. THUMP! Instead of the ding!

I will add that after doing only half, the ding was still noticeably there. But once I finished with one layer, it was good to go! Of course who would go through with all that work to get the headliner down just to do half?

Good stuff right here!
