I will be building an enclosure for two 15s. Separate chambers. Plan for 3 cubic feet after displacement and tuning right around 40 Hz. If I use a single 6 inch aero per chamber with actual inner diameter about 5.88, I calculate about 9 inches port length for the 41 Hz tuning. Can someone help me out and confirm or fix my calculations? Thanks in advance. This box will be geared more toward Spl.
Winisd says 9.92 for 41 hz

Awesome. Thanks guys. I figured I was off a bit.
Remember to make the port 1" longer if using flares. You lose .5" per flare of effective port length.

Thanks. That was actually another question of mine. I rarely build boxes with aero style ports and couldn't remember how much length the flares would account for. I've always been a die hard slot port builder but I have built a couple very loud aero enclosures so im going to give it another try.
Aeros can be loud. It's just all in how it's designed.
