This is the solution.

Active setusp are expensive and frustrating at times.

You have noisy crossovers and processors, extremely expensive decks lacking useful features like GPS, limited eq and sometimes a mess of Y adapters.

This is the best way to use any deck (double din people) and have a well tuned active setup.

This is set up to bandpass your mids 70hz-2.5k and tweets 2.5k +

You get 13 bands of eq for the left and 13 for the right

level matching

line driver of up to 13 volts.

NOISE FREE due to multiple grounding options.

Cosmetically, not so great, functions 100%. If you want, you can buy a new cover from audiocontrol for about $30.

As you can see, these are not cheap units even on the internet and are very high quality.

AudioControl EQX (eqx-white) Trunk Mount Equalizer with Crossover (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7197_AudioControl-EQX-COLOR-WHITE.html)

this will also come with an additional 33 hz subsonic chip and a 90 hz crossover chip.

no longer need due to using dc refs but this unit is so useful its not even funny.

$160 shipped.

Any questions ask away.

Ill set it up any config before shipping for you.

Thanks but its not that complex.

Run the front rca input to the eqx input. Then connect highpass output and a lowpass output (and an optional full range pass through) to your amps. Then you turn the dials to set gain, levels and eq.
