when you port a box does the port have to have a turn in it

no....
you make the port as long as it needs to be.... say your box requires a 3 inch wide and 15 inch long port, and your box is only 10 inches deep. you would make the first part of your port 7 inches long then the second part would be 5 inches long.
then again say your box was 20 inches deep, then you would have just the one part, 15 inches long......
i hope i didnt make it more confusing....

also how should i do the subs/port?... subs up/port up ...its a king cab truck ...i have the 1 18 front port front but when i get the other one i tought about the same way but dont know whats better

Its a crap shoot.. I would go both up in your case but you wont know untill you try it

yeah the new box is gonna be 2 chambers ...the plan i had was to have the subs on the outside behinde the seats and the port in the middle where the consol folds down ..im not going for high spl number but more just demo hair tricks and some comps at the local car shows

should i go one single chamber or 2 ...if i go one it would be 58w-29t-17.75d if 2 chambers 28.25w-29t-17.75
