Hey guys just got my HAT's in and went to take them apart so I could make them components and the **** screw is stripped! what should I do???

Go to the closest parts house an ask them for threadlock.

Its exactly as it says. Keeps screws and bolts from backing out.

I need it to back out thou! hahaha... they come as a coaxial set and Im taking of the tweeter to make them comps...

I had a little problem with this.. initially i couldnt find the right size, but when i did find it, it fit perfectly.. maybe this is your problem? I think I had to switch to metric sizes. Although, by the sounds of it, you may have reached the point of no return lol good luck.. but honestly I think you have wrong size

Im tryin metric tomorrow... one was pretty stripped already? idk how abut it was... I stopped screwing with them so we will see

Its just the head I think since they have never even been taken apart...

They wont back out on there own I meant. But I thought the thread was stripped.

I am pretty sure this will work but then again i don't know how badly you tried to force the issue.. i thought i stripped mine but the metric fit right in and brought a smile to my face

They arent horrible... like I said the first one was already screwed up some how and I could tell they where stripping so I didnt try and force them...

Im trying metric when I get home but even if I barely put pressure one them with any other allan they just seemed to strip very easily...

Just make sure the allen driver is seated fully and loosen it slowly. I never even installed them coax lol I pulled the tweets off right out of the box :)
