Item(s) for Sale:
(2) Digital Designs 9515g's with Carbonfiber Dustcaps and cones, dual 4 coils
Item(s) Description/Condition:
Both of the subs are in very good condition, but 1 of themthe screws came loose from the motor so the basket moves a tiny bit. It can be fixed but would require taking off the dustcap and going through the vents and screwing it back down. Only thing that you would need is a new dustcap. I don't feel like messing with it. Ive loved these woofers but looking to try out some different companies.
The other sub is 100% fine all around perfect.
Price:
$500+ Shipping obo for the 100% perfect sub
$350 Shipped obo for the sub that needs fixed
Also I'm open to trades, but no junk or low ball offers.

You can go through the pole vents with a right angel screw driver and tighten it down...worst case situation you would have to recone it...but if your patient and take your time u could get it through the dustcap. Just fyi...

It is impossible to access the bolts by taking off the dustcap. I don't know where you learned the anatomy of a subwoofer, but obviously your teacher wasn't very good.

There's a 9510 without the dustcap on. Please enlighten me as to how you access the motor bolts (which are on the other side of the former) through to pole vent?
It's impossible. The only way to tighten those bolts is to either:
A) access them through the basket vents (which is impossible with these baskets without cutting out some material)
or
B) lifting up the spiders and getting at them through the top.
Neither of which are very effective and both of which can damage parts. Popping off the dustcap accomplishes nothing. You are still on the wrong side of the former.

Also, based off the pictures, those don't look like carbon fiber cones either.

Thanks for the better pic
Also, want to answer the question I previously posted? As that's more important if you ask me.

I was told it was possible to reach through the pole vents. Even if this is not true, its still possible to get to if you can get the spider off. EVEN IF you damage anything the worst thing that will happen is you have to recone it. Which a standard paper recone from DD is $95...and if you were smart enough to try and recone it you would be smart enough to cut off the carbonfiber cap carefully and reuse it.
Sooooooo $350 shipped for a basket and motor and carbonfiber dustcap (Dustcap alone is worth 35-40). and $95 for a recone. So your getting a $500+ sub for Less than $450.

Thank you for clarifying everything. Never said it was a bad deal, but there was some bad information.
